Improving laboratory animal genetic reporting: LAG-R guidelines

Researchers currently have guidelines for how to address nomenclature, experimental design, reporting, and open data sharing when it comes to animal research. However standards relating to reporting of the genetics of the animals used have not been standardized and differing genetic background can affect results when reproducing a study. Teboul, et. al. propose the LAG-R guidelines to fill in this very gap, and these guidelines can be found in their Nature Communications paper here.
